About Wayne MOST
Wayne MOST (Maximizing Out-of-School Time) is a collaborative network of educators, youth advocates, and community partners working together to expand learning and enrichment opportunities for young people across Wayne County.

Our goal is simple: to make sure every child has access to safe, engaging, and inspiring experiences beyond the school day - because learning doesn’t stop when the bell rings.

We bring together those who care about kids - from afterschool providers and teachers to nonprofits, libraries, and local leaders - to connect, share ideas, and strengthen out-of-school programs across our communities.

How We Work
Wayne MOST isn’t another formal committee. It’s a collaborative network that thrives on connection and action.
Here’s how we stay connected and make an impact:
-
Network & Collaborate: We connect regularly through email, social media, and community gatherings to share ideas and opportunities.
-
Meet & Learn: Members meet a few times each year to exchange resources, discuss challenges, and celebrate wins.
-
Share Resources: From program schedules to success stories, we make it easy to access and share what’s working through our online platform.
-
Advocate for Kids: We raise our collective voice to ensure that local, state, and regional leaders understand the needs of our youth — and the power of afterschool programs.
-
Celebrate Success: We spotlight the incredible work happening in Wayne County and share it with our communities and schools.
