Walworth & Ontario
The town of Walworth was officially established on April 20, 1829, being the last town in Wayne County to be formed. It was originally part of the town of Ontario and covered just over 20,000 acres. The Town of Ontario is located in Wayne County on the southern shore of Lake Ontario, fifteen miles east of the City of Rochester. It is home to a population of 10,000 as well as the Ginna Nuclear Power Plant and a rapidly developing industrial park.
A fun place where grapes are grown and turned into wine. Located along the shores of Lake Ontario.
The only place where you can experience a typical 19th century settlement. This is a thirteen-acre site filled with artifacts used by early settlers of Ontario.
Sherburne Park has a baseball-field. In addition, it has plenty of nice fields for which one can engage in other leisurely activities.
